The City of Moss Point is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Starting salary for non-certified entry level officer is $37,761 annually. Salary is negotiable for experienced officers and lateral transfers ($42,129-$46,890) Applications are also being accepted for part-time officers that are certified through the State of MS. Part-time officer rate of pay is $25.00 per hour.
The next physical agility test for interested candidates will be Saturday, August 6th, 2022, at 8AM. Applicants should meet at the Moss Point Police Department located at 4200 Bellview Street by 7:45AM. Interested applicants should visit the the City of Moss Point website for more information and to apply. Testing requirements are waived for current civil service lateral transfers.
